(Fort McMurray, AB, November 15, 2017) - Registration is now open for the Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge, an annual event back this year from December 28-30 with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons as the new presenting partner.

“The Oil Barons are proud to be a partner of this long standing tradition in our community. It allows our coaches and players an opportunity to interact with our hockey youth to provide skill development assistance in a fun filled environment” said Oil Barons President David Fitzgerald.

The Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge will also include the Skills Challenge, which is included in the registration fee. The event will kick off this year with opening ceremonies on December 28, featuring players from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, followed by the Skills Challenge and an autograph session. The Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge will conclude on December 30 with presentation of medals and ribbons.

The event is open to all Divisions (Initiation to Midget). Registration for the Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge is open until December 20. Registration must be completed in person at Guest Services on the main floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre.
