(Fort McMurray, February 15, 2019) - The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park is pleased to present to the community a new exhibition by local artist Sedef Uzer Prakash titled SOUR in SWEET – Home?

“SOUR in SWEET is about me trying to find home within my heart and brain since I left my home country 20 years ago, I now pour out my sour story in a sweet way with simplistic tools as a method of release,” says Sedef Uzer Prakash. “This exhibition is an invitation to viewers to explore my journey and perspective of my home-country, while trying to find a sense of home within my new surroundings as well as myself.”
