Registration opens April 19 for 2022 Syncrude Summer Adventure Camps in Fort McMurray and Anzac

(Fort McMurray, April 14, 2022) – The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) is pleased to announce the Syncrude Summer Adventure Camps are returning to MacDonald Island Park and the Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC for another summer of fun.

“We are excited to welcome new and returning campers to the Syncrude Summer Adventure Camps this year,” says Graig Walsh, Chief Executive Officer of the RRC. “Thanks to our partnership with Syncrude, the camps offer children an opportunity to learn, play and grow, while making new friends, exploring the many amenities we offer, and enjoying the summer.”

The Syncrude Summer Adventure Camps provide opportunities for kids in the Wood Buffalo region aged 4-12 to participate in fun and inclusive camp experiences. Campers can choose from weekly day camps focused on adventure, expression and positive learning through creativity and play.

Registration for Syncrude Summer Adventure Camps will begin at 10:00 a.m. on April 19. Registration will be available at macdonaldisland.ca/camps, at Guest Services at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre and at the Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC.
