“A Trail of Hope” exhibition now on display at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery

(Fort McMurray – September 14, 2023) – This fall the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park is pleased to welcome A Trail of Hope, an exhibition featuring hand crafted regalia created by Elder Bernadette Dumais.

A Trail of Hope showcases five regalia pieces including Traditional, Chicken Dance and Grass Dance. The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery is honoured to host this exhibition as Canada marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park invites residents to the Opening Reception of A Trail of Hope on September 20 at 7:00 p.m. Elder Dumais will be present at the Opening Reception to share her story of healing.

A Trail of Hope will be available for viewing from September 11 to September 30, 2023.
