Suncor Community Leisure Centre releases 2019 annual maintenance closure dates

(Fort McMurray, July 16, 2019) The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) performs regular maintenance to services located within the Suncor Community Leisure Centre (SCLC) each year.

The Syncrude Aquatic Centre will be closed for annual required maintenance from August 19 – September 22. This maintenance is necessary to ensure efficient operations of the Aquatic Centre and to minimize future unanticipated maintenance closures.

The Fitness Centre at the SCLC will be closed August 23 and 24, allowing for deep cleaning, routine maintenance, equipment repairs and the load in of new cardio equipment.

The Running Track located on the third floor of the SCLC will be closed on August 25 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo would like to welcome members and the community for Bring a Friend Event on September 28, 2019. All monthly, continuous, and annual pass holders can bring a friend on September 28 from 4-8 p.m. free of charge. This will also be available as a two-for-one offer for day pass admissions.
