The Craze presented by Syncrude returns to MacDonald Island Park on New Year’s Eve to ring in 2023

(Fort McMurray, AB - December 12, 2022) - The Craze presented by Syncrude is back at MacDonald Island Park on December 31 as Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo says good-bye to 2022 and welcomes an exciting new year ahead!

The Craze is an annual family-friendly, fun-for-everyone event created as a community celebration to welcome the New Year. From Noon – 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2022, families can enjoy free events and activities for all ages at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre and Shell Place. The day will end with the Annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks display at 5:30 p.m. The Annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks will also be live-streamed on the MacDonald Island Facebook page and YouTube channel to allow friends and family from across the country to be part of the celebration.

This year The Craze presented by Syncrude will feature live entertainment from Will’s Jam and Magician Donovan Day on the MIX 103.7 & 100.5 CRUZ FM Main Stage.
